Regionals Results - Nationals Bound!

This past weekend was the Midwest Regional Tournament. Miami placed 7th overall missing the guaranteed spot to nationals by one place. However, we were placed in the wildcard tournament that took place Monday night. Most of the team went to the ski house to watch the wildcard tournament. After a 1 hour and 45 minute delay, Miami found out that they had made it to Nationals and would be in the D2 division!

Miami had a lot of other successes this past weekend including winning the coveted 2015 Spirit Award! Freshman, Jared Lutz, won men's slalom with 2 buoys at 35 off. Men's slalom placed 3rd overall. Women's trick placed 4th overall. Women's jump placed 3rd overall as well. All 10 of our jumpers successfully landed a jump and the entire men's jump time each got a personal best.
